Verity Resources (ASX: VRL) has extended gold mineralisation across three prospects at its 405km² Monument project in WA's Laverton Goldfields, with first-pass aircore drilling returning gold in 19 of 24 holes at A4 and A1. A4 — the largest previously untested section of the 9km banded iron formation corridor — has emerged as a high-priority RC target, sitting along strike from the existing 137,700oz Korong-Waihi resource. Director Patrick Volpe points out that 4m composite samples tend to dilute narrow high-grade intervals, noting earlier RC follow-up on the same horizon at A1 returned 2.9m at 2.51g/t gold, several times the composite tenor over the same rock.
