Si6 blitzes through WA Govt co-funded drill program
Si6 Metals has completed 4,198m of drilling at its Monument gold project in Laverton under a WA Government co-funding arrangement that reimburses half of direct billing costs up to $75,000. Of the 126 aircore holes drilled, more than 50 intersected the targeted high-level felsic intrusive suite — the rock type analogous to the 7Moz Wallaby deposit in the same Laverton Tectonic Zone. The program ran the full length of the project from the Two Bills prospect in the north to the southern tenement boundary, testing targets drawn from a geophysical interpretation that identified 60 fresh prospects. Samples are now with the laboratory for gold and multi-element analysis plus spectral work on alteration assemblages, with results expected in three to four weeks.
