Si6 Metals strikes high-grade gold in outback WA
Si6 Metals has hit shallow high-grade gold in the maiden aircore program at its Monument project outside Laverton, with 24m at 3.24g/t gold from 44m — including 12m at 6.35g/t — at the Fred's Well prospect between the Waihi and Korong resources. Further intercepts included 8m at 2.09g/t from 40m and 3m at 2.98g/t from 72m, the latter ending in mineralisation when the drill rods bogged down. At the North Well prospect to the south, a metre grading 9.03g/t was intercepted from just 4m, with mineralisation there still open to the north-west of a 1,500m strike.
