Bumper copper, silver grades in Botswana for Si6
Diamond drilling at Si6 Metals' Dibete project in Botswana has returned 6.15m at 7.2% copper and 182g/t silver from 24.85m, including a metre grading 13% copper with 168g/t silver and a half-metre lens at 10.8% copper and 281g/t silver. The hole was drilled to ground-truth an intersection released earlier in the month, and management says the high-grade copper occurs as chalcocite within weathered biotite schists. Trench sampling has separately returned potentially economic oxide grades at surface, with an 8m section going 0.62% copper and 28.3g/t silver.
