Si6 drilling intersects promising geology at Monument
Si6 Metals has completed a 119-hole, 5,636m phase three aircore program across four target areas at its Monument gold project in WA's Laverton Tectonic Zone, intersecting complex geology at every one. Drilling covered 750m of strike at Fred's Well — targeting down-dip extensions to historical workings never previously drill tested — and 1,750m at North Well along an interpreted structural corridor, following earlier gold zones including 8m at 0.98g/t. Felsic intrusives were logged at Fred's Well, North Well and the Korong intrusion, while holes chasing a geophysically interpreted extension of Glencore's Murrin Murrin ultramafic unit instead hit high-grade metamorphic rocks coinciding with the Celia Tectonic Lineament, opening a new gold target. Samples are with ALS Laboratories in Kalgoorlie, with gold and multi-element results expected in mid-December.
