Si6 to join multi-mineral hunt on new Brazilian ground
Si6 Metals has received shareholder approval to acquire a 50% interest in four Brazilian projects covering 10 exploration licences and 17,000 hectares across three states, forming a joint venture with seller Foxfire Metals. The ground spans four tenements in the Jequitinhonha Valley lithium district of Minas Gerais, two in the Caldera rare earths area, two in the Ceará Pedra Branca region of the Borborema Structural Province, and an underexplored 40km² block in the Southern Amazon near Apuí — where a Foxfire RC hole returned anomalous rare earths from surface through to the end of hole at 88m. Foxfire will manage the venture and is free carried to completion of a bankable feasibility study, with Si6 committing $1 million in the first year.
