Si6 steps out with regional exploration in Botswana
Si6 Metals has begun a regional exploration program across its wholly owned Botswanan tenements, starting with soil and rock sampling and geological mapping aimed at defining targets for ground geophysics and possible drill testing. The work begins at the Maibele East and Mashambe prospects, both along strike to the north-east of the Maibele North resource, and follows a geological review the company says identified numerous high-quality early-stage base and precious metal prospects. Executive chairman Patrick Holywell says the program will define key target areas across the 100%-owned ground and prepare the company for the next phase of work.
