Si6 Metals lands Brazilian lithium, rare earths portfolio
Si6 Metals has entered a joint venture with Foxfire Metals to acquire a 50% interest in a portfolio of Brazilian lithium and rare earths projects, subject to a 30-day due diligence period. The package spans five granted tenements and five applications across four project areas and 17,000 hectares in three states, prospective for lithium, rare earths, gold, base metals and PGEs. Three granted tenements and four applications sit in Minas Gerais — one within 20km of Sigma Lithium's 85.6Mt Grota do Cirilo project, two applications neighbouring Meteoric Resources' ionic clay rare earths discovery, and another roughly 20km north of Latin Resources' Salinas lithium project — with the remainder in Ceará and Amazonas.
