Si6 completes WA aircore drilling; Botswana next on the menu
Si6 Metals (ASX: SI6) has wrapped up its maiden 126-hole, 4,198m aircore program targeting high-level felsic intrusives at the Monument gold project in WA, with 50 holes intersecting the targeted rock suite. The drilling was co-funded through the state government's Exploration Incentive Scheme, which refunds half of direct drilling costs up to $75,000, and samples are now undergoing gold and multi-element assay plus whole rock geochemistry, with initial results three to four weeks away. Attention now turns to Botswana, where AMT survey results across Dibete, Airstrip and Maibele North are imminent — surveying that has already mapped existing sulphide mineralisation at Maibele North and detected untested zones of anomalism beneath the known orebody.
