Nickel-copper trail lights up for Si6 in Botswana

Si6 Metals has intersected strong visual copper and nickel sulphide mineralisation at its Maibele North prospect in Botswana, with significant pentlandite, chalcopyrite and pyrrhotite logged across four RC holes and two diamond holes. The 2,182m program targeted geophysical anomalies over 1.5km of strike to 400m depth, and the company says those anomalies are now proven to reflect sulphide mineralisation, with assays expected back in six to eight weeks. The data will feed a resource review for Maibele North, which currently carries an inferred estimate of 2.38Mt at 0.72% nickel and 0.21% copper, and will be combined with historical drilling never previously used for resource definition. Read the full article for the historical intercepts at Maibele North and what Si6 has planned along the 30km prospective trend.
