Si6 Metals unearths shallow, broad ‘high-grade’ mineralisation at Monument Gold Project, WA
Si6 Metals (ASX: SI6) has identified shallow, broad gold mineralisation from its phase three maiden aircore campaign at the Monument gold project in WA's Laverton district, drilling 119 holes for 5,636m across four prospect areas. Fred's Well returned 24m at 3.24g/t gold from 44m including 12m at 6.35g/t, while North Well produced grades up to 9.03g/t alongside 20m at 0.39g/t from 60m. At Fred's Well the company has mapped multiple mineralised contacts across a 100m wide stratigraphic sequence of ultramafics, felsic porphyry, mafic volcanics and sediments, extending 400m along strike, with elevated silver, bismuth, copper and manganese pointing to hydrothermal mineralisation. Read the full article for the pathfinder elements Si6 will use in surface geochemical sampling and how that will shape future drilling.
