Si6 kicks off drill campaign at flagship Botswana play

Si6 Metals has launched a 15-hole drill campaign at its Dibete copper-silver project in Botswana, the first of three projects to be tested over the next four months ahead of Airstrip and Maibele North. The program will drill deep holes to test the extent of known shallow high-grade mineralisation where geophysics suggests a substantial near-vertical orebody, following a 2021 magnetic survey that outlined a pipe-like feature geometrically similar to the breccia-pipe mineralisation of the Messina copper district 200km east. Previous drilling at Dibete returned 38m at 1.72% copper and 119g/t silver from 16m, 11m at 4.5% copper and 229g/t silver from 33m, and 17m at 2.7% copper and 40g/t silver from 16m. Read the full article for the Messina district's mining history and what Si6 has planned at Maibele North, including an open-pit review and the incorporation of unused historical drilling.
